Super excited for Valentine’s Day. I don’t have high expectations for it being different than any other day, but for the first time ever I won’t be desperately trying to forget that it’s Valentine’s Day. I can just relax and enjoy laughing at all the absurd commercialized red crap everywhere.
Also, we finally had our first fight and it actually made me happier. We never raised our voices or said anything even remotely mean. I got mad, we spent the first night apart in the last six weeks but we talked about it today and things are better than ever. We discussed our feelings rationally and honestly, then moved on. No grudges held, no festering feelings and things left unsaid. We love each other and that is that.
I’ve never been so happy, truly.
